We are seeking a temporary Dutch as a Foreign Language Teaching Assistant in our Primary Department.

The job
You provide inspiring lessons to our students. As a teaching assistant you are responsible for more than just passing on lesson material. Together with your colleagues, you help our students to develop their competences and to get the best out of themselves.

Key expectations for this role:

• Work with groups of students and individual students, in accordance with the approved curriculum using appropriate methods and suitable resources (including information technology) as directed or agreed with the teacher;
• Supervise students in the acquisition of Dutch Language skills;
• Supervise students during lessons, breaks, games;
• Assist with the collaboration of students, group work and working in learning areas;
• Oversee independent learning activities;
• Conduct various administrative tasks;
• Prepare the teaching environment and clear away after the lesson;
• Create and prepare learning materials.

• Eligible to work in the EU;
• A fluent Dutch speaker with the ability to write in Dutch;
• A good knowledge of the Dutch culture
• A good level of English
• Being creative and flexible;
• Being patient and well-organised;
• Being energetic and responsible;
• Able to work effectively within a team.

• Grading scale takes place in scale 4 (min. €1854,- max €2570,- at 1.0 FTE);
