We are currently seeking a Dutch Teacher to join our Junior School Leidscheveen, in The Hague. This is a part-time position (26 hours per week).
The Dutch Teacher must be able to teach the whole Primary age range (4-11) and can teach in an interactive and creative way, which makes the learning of the language fun and engaging. will support the development of the teaching and learning of Dutch within the curriculum.

We have two Junior Schools for children aged 3-11, and two Senior Schools for students aged 11-18.
The BSN is a leading international school, and our mission is to provide a world-class education to individual students, ages 3 to 18, of all nationalities. Our curriculum has a strong British Foundation and Dutch is taught from Foundation 2 to all year groups. The level of Dutch spoken by our students ranges from nil to completely fluent. As a result, we customise our Dutch programme to ensure it best meets the needs of our students. Students are sometimes grouped by level rather than year group, to allow for more interaction and opportunity for extension. Essentially, we structure the lessons in a way which best matches the children’s needs. Dutch culture and traditions are also covered within all groups to help children properly integrate into the local Dutch community.
- NT2 qualification is required;
- Experience in being a teacher of Dutch across different age ranges in the primary setting;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent inter-personal skills and team player;
- Have a passion for teaching and learning and be extremely collaborative.
